Mall of the World — Operated by BOSSROSSY
Last updated: 1 April 2026
Mall of the World is a multi-vendor digital marketplace operated by BOSSROSSY, a South Africa-based e-commerce platform. We provide technology infrastructure that enables independent vendors (sellers) to create online stores, list products, and transact with customers (buyers) worldwide.
BOSSROSSY acts as the platform facilitator — we do not manufacture, store, or directly sell products unless explicitly stated. Each store on the platform is independently operated by its respective vendor.
By accessing or using Mall of the World (the "Platform"), whether as a buyer, vendor, or visitor, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, you may not use the Platform.
These terms apply to all users including vendors, buyers, and guests browsing the platform.
All users agree to:
All payments on Mall of the World are processed by BOSSROSSY via secure third-party payment gateways including Stripe, PayPal, and PayFast. By completing a purchase, you authorise BOSSROSSY to process your payment.
Vendor payouts are managed by BOSSROSSY and disbursed according to the agreed payout schedule. Buyers will be charged in the currency displayed at checkout.
BOSSROSSY does not store full card details. All payment data is handled by PCI-DSS compliant processors.
Delivery of products is the sole responsibility of the vendor. Estimated delivery timeframes are provided by vendors and are not guaranteed by BOSSROSSY.
BOSSROSSY is not liable for delays caused by vendors, couriers, or circumstances beyond our control. Buyers are encouraged to contact the relevant vendor for delivery inquiries.
BOSSROSSY reserves the right to:
All platform branding, logos, and content produced by BOSSROSSY are our intellectual property. Vendors retain ownership of their product content but grant BOSSROSSY a licence to display it on the platform.
Users may not reproduce, redistribute, or commercially exploit platform content without written consent.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, BOSSROSSY shall not be liable for:
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by the user in the transaction giving rise to the claim.
In the event of a dispute between a buyer and vendor, BOSSROSSY will act as a neutral facilitator. We encourage parties to first attempt resolution directly.
If unresolved, buyers may raise a formal dispute with us at support@malloftheworld.co.za. We will review evidence from both parties and issue a decision within 10 business days.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Disputes not resolved internally may be referred to the relevant consumer tribunal or court.
BOSSROSSY operates in compliance with applicable South African law including the Consumer Protection Act (CPA), Electronic Communications and Transactions Act (ECTA), and the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA). We also align with international standards including GDPR where applicable.
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance. We will notify registered users of material changes via email.
