Mall of the World Online
Operated by BOSSROSSY (Pty) Ltd
Mall of the World Online is a digital marketplace and online store discovery platform operated by BOSSROSSY (Pty) Ltd (“BOSSROSSY”, “we”, “us” or “our”).
The platform allows businesses to showcase products, promote their stores, connect with potential customers and, where available, direct customers to their own websites or communication channels.
Important: Shipping arrangements depend on how a product is listed and where the purchase is completed. BOSSROSSY does not operate its own courier service or automatically handle the fulfilment of every order displayed on the platform.
Shipping and delivery arrangements depend on the type of store and transaction.
Where a purchase is completed through a registered store on Mall of the World Online, the vendor operating that store is generally responsible for:
The applicable shipping costs and delivery information should be displayed or communicated to the customer before payment is completed.
Where BOSSROSSY or the platform provides a specific delivery-related service, the terms displayed for that service will apply.
Mall of the World Online may list or feature businesses that operate their own independent websites.
Where a customer clicks a link and is redirected to an external website:
BOSSROSSY does not dispatch, package, deliver or directly manage orders placed on external websites merely because those websites are listed on Mall of the World Online.
External website listings are intended to help customers discover businesses and do not, by themselves, mean that BOSSROSSY owns, operates, endorses or guarantees those businesses.
Some stores may accept enquiries or orders through WhatsApp, telephone, social media or other direct communication channels.
For these transactions, the customer and vendor must confirm the following directly:
Customers should confirm these details before making payment.
Where an order is arranged outside Mall of the World Online, BOSSROSSY does not automatically receive the order details or payment and may have limited ability to investigate or resolve disputes.
For orders where the vendor provides delivery estimates, the following timeframes may be used as general guidance only.
| Delivery destination | Indicative timeframe |
|---|---|
| Local delivery within the same city | 1–3 business days |
| Delivery within South Africa | 3–7 business days |
| Regional delivery within SADC countries | 7–14 business days |
| International delivery | 14–30 business days |
| Digital products | As specified by the seller |
These are indicative estimates, not guaranteed delivery periods. Actual delivery may depend on product availability, dispatch time, courier capacity, public holidays, the destination, customs processing and other circumstances.
The vendor’s stated delivery estimate takes precedence where it differs from these general guidelines.
Digital products may be delivered electronically, provided the seller offers this method.
Shipping fees and available delivery methods are determined by the relevant vendor or external store.
Depending on the store, options may include:
Customers should check the final shipping cost before confirming an order. Where the purchase takes place on an external website, shipping charges will be determined by that website.
BOSSROSSY does not set or collect shipping fees for independent external stores unless expressly stated in the applicable transaction terms.
For marketplace orders, customers should first use the order confirmation or tracking information provided by the vendor.
If tracking is available, the vendor or its courier should provide the relevant details.
For orders placed on external websites or through WhatsApp, customers should contact the business directly using its published contact details.
If a registered marketplace vendor fails to respond to a delivery enquiry, customers may contact BOSSROSSY at support@malloftheworld.co.za.
BOSSROSSY may assist with communication or escalation where appropriate, but it cannot directly track or control shipments handled by independent vendors, external stores or third-party couriers.
Customers are responsible for providing accurate delivery details, including the recipient’s name, contact number, street address, suburb, city and postal code where applicable.
Incorrect or incomplete information may result in delivery delays, failed delivery attempts or additional charges.
If a customer discovers an address error after placing an order, they should contact the vendor or relevant seller as soon as possible.
Any additional delivery charges, redelivery arrangements or collection requirements must be communicated by the responsible vendor or courier, subject to applicable consumer law.
Nothing in this section excludes any rights a customer may have where a delivery failure is caused by the vendor or another responsible party.
If an order has not arrived within the stated delivery timeframe, customers should:
BOSSROSSY may assist in referring the complaint to the relevant vendor and requesting a response.
For orders placed on external websites, customers should contact the external seller directly.
Any applicable refund, replacement or cancellation will be handled in accordance with the relevant seller’s obligations, the applicable Refund and Returns Policy, and South African consumer law or other applicable laws.
BOSSROSSY does not guarantee a refund or replacement for a transaction it did not process or control. However, nothing in this policy removes any legal rights or remedies available to a customer against the responsible seller or other legally liable party.
If a customer receives an item that is damaged, defective or different from what was ordered, they should contact the seller as soon as reasonably possible.
Customers should, where practical:
The seller must address the complaint in accordance with its legal obligations, applicable consumer protection laws and any relevant returns or refund terms.
Any suggested reporting timeframe provided by a seller must not unlawfully restrict the customer’s statutory rights.
For registered marketplace stores, customers may contact support@malloftheworld.co.za if the seller does not respond or the complaint remains unresolved. BOSSROSSY may assist with escalation but cannot guarantee a particular outcome where it does not control the transaction.
For purchases completed on external websites, complaints should be directed to the external seller.
International delivery may be subject to import duties, customs charges, taxes, inspections and other destination-country requirements.
Before ordering internationally, customers should confirm:
Responsibility for import charges and customs compliance depends on the applicable law and the agreed shipping terms. Customers should not assume that such charges are included unless expressly stated.
Customs inspections, regulatory requirements and border delays may extend delivery times. BOSSROSSY cannot control customs decisions or processing times.
Where a seller offers digital products or electronically delivered services, physical shipping may not be required.
The seller should specify the method of delivery, such as email, account access, download link or another agreed electronic method, and communicate any applicable delivery requirements.
If access or delivery fails, the customer should contact the seller using the relevant store’s support details.
Some vendors may offer collection from their premises or another agreed location.
Customers should confirm the collection address, opening hours, collection date, payment status and any identification requirements directly with the vendor before travelling.
Collection is only available where expressly offered by the seller.
For issues relating to registered stores on Mall of the World Online, customers may contact:
Email: support@malloftheworld.co.za
Please include the store name, order reference if available, date of purchase and a brief description of the problem.
For orders placed through an external website, customers should contact that website’s seller or support team first. BOSSROSSY may provide general assistance where appropriate but is not automatically responsible for resolving transactions conducted independently of its platform.
BOSSROSSY operates Mall of the World Online as a platform for discovering and, where available, purchasing products from independent businesses.
Unless expressly agreed otherwise, BOSSROSSY does not act as the courier, warehouse, manufacturer or fulfilment provider for independent sellers.
Nothing in this policy excludes or limits any responsibility or consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under applicable law, including the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 and the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002, where applicable.
BOSSROSSY may update this Shipping Policy from time to time to reflect changes to the platform, its services or applicable legal requirements.
The latest version and its effective date will be published on Mall of the World Online.
For external store purchases, customers should also consult the relevant seller’s contact information and shipping terms before placing an order.
